Harbour View is an AA 4 Star Award Winning Bed and Breakfast situated on the seashore with unrivalled views of Kenmare Bay. It is located 4 miles from the town of Kenmare itself on the R571, the main Ring of Beara / Castletownbere Road. Harbour View is 25 miles from Killarney, and 1 hour 20 min. from Cork airport. It is approved by Bord Faílte Town Country Houses and has an AA 4 Star award.
Harbour View - you can relax in the peace and solitude of the countryside. Go on scenic forest and mountain walks with spectacular views. Drive or take walks through the wild, rugged and unspoiled Beara Peninsula at a leisurely pace, enjoying the wide open spaces and breathtaking scenery. Visit the beautiful Gleninchaquin Amenity and Waterfall Valley, go fishing on the Clonee lakes or sit and relax in peace and tranquility.
Breakfast is served in the Conservatory Dining Room and includes choices of Scrambled Egg, Smoked Salmon, Kippers, Traditional Irish Homemade Brown Bread and preserves.
Our guests can also relax with a cup of tea or coffee at any time during the day - just enjoy the view, listen to the sounds of the birds and see what wildlife you can spot in water.
To appreciate Kenmare and its surrounding area, a stay of at least 2 or 3 nights is recommended. But however long or short you stay, we know you will want to return. We are situated 50 metres from Star Sailing Adventure Centre, Activities include such as Sea kayaking, windsurfing, Canoeing and much more.
Also Bar and Restaurant with excellent fresh seafood specialty, freshly caught on the day served in the dining room overlooking the bay, snacks all day. Lunches and evening dinner.

Pass Lansdowne Hotel, turn left at the postoffice, over the bridge, take the first right after the bridge for Castletownberehaven 571 Rd. Harbour View is 3½ miles on the lefthand side with seaviews - 1 mile from Sailors Bar.
